Children & Education

Children aged one to five can attend pre-school. When children turn six years of age, they can go to a non-compulsory school.

In Sweden, school is compulsory for pupils aged seven and from school years one to nine.

After those nine years, pupils can go to non-compulsory upper secondary school for three to four years. Then they can go to college or university.
