Lidingö stadshus
After the election in 2006, Moderaterna and the Liberal Party of Sweden formed a coalition. Together both parties have 29 of the 51 seats in the municipal council.
Every fourth year, there is a municipal election in Sweden. The number of votes in the election determines how many seats each party gets in the municipal council. The council itself appoints members to the municipal executive board and other committees.
