Municipal council
The municipal council is the city´s highest decision-making body. On the municipal council are 51 members from eight different parties. The members are elected by the residents of the municipality in the election that takes place every fourth year.
The municipal council assembles for a meeting once each month in the City Hall´s session room. The meetings are open to anyone who wants to come and listen. The debates can also be followed on Web TV or the radio (Radio Lidingö FM 97.8).
