Lidingö´s population is increasing
A population projection for the city of Lidingö is calculated once a year,and the city´s departments use it when planning. The forecast shows that, in the upcoming years, the population will increase annually by 3,000. In 2022, the population is expected to be slightly above 46,000.
The number of adults in proportion to the number of children, adolescents and elderly will decrease. This trend is not unique to Lidingö. It applies to many municipalities throughout the country and for the country as a whole.
